Idiyappam is a popular South Indian dish made from rice flour. It is also known as string hoppers or nool puttu. To make idiyappam, rice flour is mixed with hot water and salt to form a soft dough. The dough is then pressed through a special idiyappam press or sevai maker to create thin strands. These strands are steamed until cooked and served with coconut chutney, vegetable stew, or any other curry of your choice. Idiyappam is a light and healthy dish that can be enjoyed for breakfast, lunch, or dinner.
